Services Available
The Day Hospital Program offers daily, short term, group treatment designed to stabilize a person’s mood and improve their day-to-day functioning. The program is approximately one month in duration. It is an “open” format, meaning that patients can join in at any point during the month.
The Day Hospital Program is designed for clients who are 18 years of age or older, who are experiencing acute or significant difficulties related to any of a variety of mental health issues. If a mental illness has made it difficult for someone to function at home, work, school, or in their relationships then the support and structure of this daily program may help.
Our Team
The Day Hospital Program uses a multidisciplinary team approach to treatment. The team consists of psychiatrists, a nurse, a social worker, an occupational therapist and representatives from community organizations. Daily and weekly team meetings keep staff informed of patient goals and progress.
