In memory of James, tourney raises funds and awareness

On June 30, James Peek would have turned 28 years old. James likely would have spent his birthday golfing with his brothers, his father and close friends. In a way, he still does. He has missed his last 10 birthdays. At age 17, the then Grade 12 student at Alexander Mackenzie High School committed suicide on Nov. 16. 1999. The teenager fell victim to a silent battle with mental illness.
