| Moonlight & Magic Gala |

Join us on Friday, November 4th as we dance the night away under some moonlight and magic at York Central Hospital Foundation's 24th annual gala. This spectacular event features a cocktail reception, silent and live auctions, gourmet dinner, and entertainment including a live band. Since 1988, the Gala has raised over $5 million dollars for capital improvements and life-saving medical equipment in virtually every area of the Hospital.

| Strides for Stroke 5k Run/Walk |

This fun and exciting community event has attracted over 700 runners and walkers to Richmond Green every year since 2006. Participants and spectators enjoy good music and food and help raise much-needed funds in support of the Hospital.
Thank you to everyone who joined us May 7th for the Strides for Stroke 5K Run/Walk. $125,000 was raised for the York Region District Stroke Centre located at York Central Hospital.

| Proud Partners Classic

Thank you to all the sponsors, donors and golfers for joining us on June 6th for the Proud Partners Classic golf tournament. The event raised over $115,000 to fund equipment for the second, soon to be built Minimally Invasive Surgical Suite at York Central Hospital.

This biennial lifestyle luncheon features special guest speakers to talk about healthy living and includes a delicious menu, entertainment, exciting raffle and exceptional door prizes and gift bags. The event is organized by a group of dedicated volunteers and has raised $200,000 since its inaugural event in 2009

| Community Events |
Community events are a critical component of the Foundation’s annual fundraising goals. Individuals, groups and companies can organize a fundraising event and donate the proceeds to York Central Hospital Foundation. By organizing an event benefiting York Central Hospital, you are contributing financial support and raising vital awareness to improve health care for our community. Proceeds from these events may be designated to a hospital department/program of your choice that’s close to your heart whether it’s Cardiology, Neonatal Care, Palliative Care, Emergency, etc.
