YCH Foundation & MIS Featured on Rogers Television
Last month, York Central Hospital Foundation had the privilege of collaborating with Rogers Television York Region to produce a segment for Community Connection on Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS).
The segment features MIS Surgeon Dr. Rohan Shahani, York Central Hospital Foundation President & CEO Bill Leacy and John Jenah, President of the Paul B. Helliwell Foundation. The Paul B. Helliwell Foundation was the lead donor in both of York Central Hospital’s MIS Suites.

Biennial Event Exceeds Fundraising Goal
Richmond Hill, ON– York Central Hospital Foundation's second r.a.p.t. in health luncheon event raised $150,000 exceeding its original fundraising goal. "The event completely exceeded our expectations, and we couldn't be happier with the results," said Margo Sage-Arnold, Manager, Special Events at the foundation. "Our first luncheon in 2009 raised $50,000, and we were hoping to double it with this event, so we're incredibly pleased." read more

Enbridge Gas Distribution Presents $120,000 to York Central Hospital
Richmond Hill, ON, May 12, 2010 Enbridge Gas Distribution Inc. has renewed its long-time support of York Central Hospital with a $120,000 contribution over the next four years. “For more than a decade Enbridge has been generously supporting York Central Hospital to help improve health care for residents living in Southwest York Region. Not only has it provided important philanthropic dollars Enbridge employees have played key volunteer roles in helping the foundation fulfill its mission.
